Game Preview: Lady Eagles Set for Rivalry Showdown with Bob Jones

Game Preview:
This Saturday at 5:30 PM in the Nest, the Lady Eagles take the court for one of the most anticipated games of the 2025–26 season as they host the Lady Bruins of Bob Jones University. The annual rivalry matchup has become one of the premier nights on the schedule, and with both teams battling for postseason positioning, the white-out atmosphere promises another electric evening in Pensacola.

The Lady Eagles enter Saturday riding one of the strongest seasons in recent memory. At 19-4 overall, a perfect 5-0 in conference play, and perfect 11-0 at home, PCC is averaging over 79 PPG while outscoring opponents by nearly 16 points per contest. Their offense has been both efficient and deep, knocking down nearly 10 three-pointers per game and executing at a high percentage from the field. Add in a consistent rebounding edge and an up-tempo pace that wears teams down late, and the Lady Eagles have proven difficult to contain for a full 40 minutes.

In their recent 99-91 win over Trinity College of Jacksonville, the Lady Eagles delivered one of their most dynamic performances of the season. Brooklyn Bosher poured in a program single-game record 44 points, going 14-for-30 from the field and connecting on 6 three-pointers. Sky Boyd added 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Micah Coalson chipped in 11 points to give PCC multiple scoring threats. The performance showcased the Lady Eagles' explosive potential when the offense is firing on all cylinders.

The Bruins arrive in the Nest at 7-11 overall, averaging 62 PPG while shooting just over 38% from the floor. They connect on roughly 8 three-pointers per contest and have demonstrated the ability to compete in tight games. A narrow 66-65 loss to Trinity College of Jacksonville earlier this month proved they can stay within striking distance when they execute. While their record may not fully reflect it, Bob Jones brings scoring balance and perimeter shooting that demands attention.

Rivalry games always carry extra intensity, and with the Nest painted white and the student section roaring, Saturday's atmosphere is expected to be one of the loudest of the year. The Lady Eagles will look for strong defensive energy, balanced scoring, and early momentum in transition as they pursue another signature home win.

Tip-off is set for 5:30 PM Saturday in the Nest. Wear white, pack the stands, and be loud for your Lady Eagles.
