Lady Eagles Head to Joplin for NCCAA DII National Tournament Looking to Capture First National Banner

Tournament Preview
After a record breaking regular season highlighted by consistency, growth, grit, and dominant stretches of play, the Lady Eagles are headed to the 2025 NCCAA DII National Tournament in Joplin, Missouri. Joplin will serve as the host site one final time, continuing its role as home of the National Tournament since 2023.

Under first season head coach Ryan Vanderboegh, the Lady Eagles delivered one of the strongest campaigns in program history, finishing the regular season with a 20-6 record, the most regular season wins in program history. After their impressive performance in the South Region Tournament, the Lady Eagles enter nationals with a 22-6 overall record and momentum from a championship weekend that saw them sweep Toccoa Falls and earn a 3-1 victory over Bob Jones in the South Region Championship.

Throughout the season, the Lady Eagles showcased their strength through extended winning streaks. From September 13 - October 3, PCC won 8 consecutive matches, demonstrating high level execution and continued improvement across the roster. Following a loss to Coastal Alabama on October 4, the Lady Eagles responded with another long stretch of success, winning 7 straight matches from October 9 - November 1. Aside from two narrow setbacks in early November, PCC enters the postseason as one of the hottest teams in the national field.
