The Lady Eagles continue their stretch of home games in the Nest Tuesday evening with a matchup against Southeastern Baptist College. Tip-off is set for 6:00 PM.
Riding a 13-game winning streak, the Lady Eagles have a chance to push their run to 16 consecutive victories by the end of the week, tying their longest regular-season win streak in program history. Wins over Randall University and Dallas Christian College this past weekend kept the momentum rolling and showcased the Lady Eagles at their best.
Both victories were convincing, with the Lady Eagles winning by 15+ points in each contest. Sky Boyd led the charge, recording a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds against Randall while earning yet another Student-Athlete of the Week honor. Brooklyn Bosher, Autumn Boutwell, and Amy Ahrens also chipped in double-figure scoring efforts. Against Dallas Christian, Boyd delivered a dominant 27-point performance on 63% shooting, while Bosher added 21 points on 57% from the field, continuing to highlight the one-two punch the duo has provided all season.
Tuesday's matchup opens a three-game homestand for the Lady Eagles, with LB Wallace and Toccoa Falls College set to visit the Nest on Thursday and Saturday. Southeastern Baptist enters the contest with a 1-12 record, giving the Lady Eagles an opportunity to rotate their lineup and fine-tune their game plan ahead of a busy and important week.
With a chance to break their regular-season consecutive win record on the line, the Lady Eagles will look to feed off the energy of the home crowd. Tip-off is Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Nest, come out and support your Lady Eagles!
