Match Preview:
The Lady Eagles are back on their home court this Saturday for a tri-match against Freed-Hardeman University and Clinton College. After facing a stretch of non-conference opponents, the Lady Eagles will be looking to ride the momentum they've built and put together a strong showing in front of their home crowd.
Freed-Hardeman enters the weekend with a 10-4 record, including recent sweeps over York University and Cottey. Most recently, the Lady Lions picked up a 3-0 victory on the road at Crowley's Ridge in Arkansas. The Lady Eagles and Lady Lions have never clashed on the court, Saturday's match will be the determining factor of the teams' historical standing! Clinton College holds a 7-3 record on the season and will be searching for a win on Saturday, having dropped 3 of their previous 4 matches. The Golden Bears' most recent outing was a 3-0 loss to Fayetteville State University. With a 1-3 record when matched up against Clinton, the Lady Eagles look to repeat their success from the '24 season when they defeated Clinton on the road!
The Lady Eagles will look to carry their home-court energy into Saturday's tri-match against two high-level opponents. Having won five of their last seven, they see this matchup as a key opportunity to build momentum and confidence heading into the final stretch of September.
