After battling to a 1-1 draw against LaGrange College in Saturday's home opener, the Eagles men's soccer team will turn the page quickly as they welcome Carolina Christian College to Eagle Field on Tuesday night.
This will be the first-ever meeting between these two programs. Carolina Christian only recently launched its athletics department, debuting men's soccer in 2023 and joining the NCCAA that same year. Following a shortened opening campaign and a 1-year hiatus, the Centurions soccer team has returned for the 2025 season and are still searching for their first victory, entering the week at 0-4. The Eagles, meanwhile, stand at 2-0-1 and are aiming to secure their third win of the young season.
Tuesday's contest gives the Eagles a chance to build on the positives from their draw against LaGrange, where they generated consistent pressure in the attacking third and showed resilience in a physical matchup. With momentum still in hand and several new faces already making an impact, the Eagles will aim to carry their early-season form into their first clash with the Centurions.
