Match Preview: Eagles Face Columbia International in Home Opener

Match Preview:
This Tuesday Night, the Eagles men's soccer team returns to Eagle Field for a matchup against Columbia International University. 

The Eagles are hoping to kick off their home opener with their first win of the season after opening their season with back-to-back road matches, including a hard-fought 3-3 tie against Warner University and a 0-2 loss at Ave Maria University. The Eagles look to improve on those early-season performances and establish momentum in front of their home fans. 

The CIU Rams enter the contest with a 1-1 record after coming off a strong showing at Bob Jones University, where they won 3-1. 

Tuesday's contest marks the third meeting between the Eagles and the Rams. The CIU Rams won both previous matchups against PCC with a 6-0 win in 2018 and a 4-0 win in 2016. With that in mind, the Eagles intend to bring strong competition to the Rams and ultimately improve their season to 1-1-1. 

The Eagles hope to win their first game of the season at home. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday on Eagle Field. Come out and cheer on your Eagles as they kick off their home opener!
