Game Preview:
The Eagles Men's Basketball team returns to the Nest this Friday and Saturday for a pair of home matchups against Appalachian Bible College. Tipoff is set for Friday at 8:00 PM and Saturday at 12:00 PM.
The Eagles are coming off a demanding road stretch that tested both endurance and resolve, playing five games in seven days while traveling through North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina. Despite the quick turnarounds and tough competition, several standout performances helped keep momentum alive. Liam Gerdts delivered big-time scoring efforts against Boyce College (31 points, 7 three-pointers) and Welch College (23 points), while logging 161 minutes over the five-game stretch. Blaise Conlon rejoined the lineup during the January window and made an immediate impact, scoring 18 points against Welch and totaling 39 points across the trip. Meanwhile, consistent contributors Kaiden Pack and Josh Azucena continued to provide a balanced and dynamic offensive attack.
The matchup with Appalachian Bible serves as a valuable midseason tune-up for the Eagles as they prepare for an intense upcoming stretch, with nine games scheduled in the next month, six of them at home in "The Nest".
As the Eagles return to the Nest, your support makes all the difference. Tipoff is Friday at 8:00 PM and Saturday at 12:00 PM, come out and cheer on your Eagles in 2026!Â
