Eagles Head to Kissimmee for NCCAA DII National Tournament Looking to Add Another Banner

Tournament Preview
After a regular season marked by resilience, growth, and top-tier performances against NCCAA opponents, the Eagles are headed to the 2025 NCCAA DII National Tournament in Kissimmee, FL. The tournament will once again be hosted at the Austin-Tindall Sports Complex, the longtime home of NCCAA National Tournament soccer.

The Eagles enter the national stage with an 8-5-5 record, a .583 winning percentage, and a reputation for stepping up when the stakes are highest. Against NCCAA DII opponents, the Eagles were dominant, posting a 6-1-1 record, with their only loss coming to #1-ranked Bob Jones University, the top team in the country. Their lone NCCAA draw came in the South Region Tournament, a 2-2 battle with Toccoa Falls, the #1 seed in this year's national field, that ended in a narrow setback in PKs.

Tournament Field & Format
This year's eight-team field features programs from across the nation, seeded as follows:
  1. Toccoa Falls College (Pool A)
  2. Alice Lloyd College (Pool B)
  3. Pensacola Christian College (Pool B)
  4. Boyce College (Pool A)
  5. Central Christian College of the Bible (Pool A)
  6. Grace Christian University (Pool B)
  7. Faith Baptist Bible College (Pool B)
  8. Southwestern Adventist University (Pool A)
Pool play begins Monday at 3:30 p.m. and continues through Thursday at 6:00 p.m. The winners of each pool (Pool A and Pool B) will advance to the National Championship Game on Saturday, November 22, at 6:00 p.m.
With a balanced field full of familiar opponents and new threats alike, the Eagles enter as the #3 seed, poised to challenge for a spot in Saturday's National Championship match.

Team Leaders
Offensive Firepower
The Eagle attack is headlined by sophomore standout Jackson Clarke, who leads the team with:
  • 9 goals
  • 4 assists
  • 22 total points
Close behind is senior forward Odanci Ndayisaba, a constant scoring threat with:
  • 8 goals
  • 3 assists
  • 19 total points
Together, the duo has accounted for nearly half of the Eagles' total goal scoring, giving PCC one of the most dangerous forward pairings in the tournament.

Defensive Backbone
Anchoring the back line is South Region Player of the Year Boaz DaSilva, who leads the team in minutes played and contributes on both ends of the field with 3 goals from the center back position. DaSilva's leadership, physical presence, and late-game poise have been foundational to the Eagles' success all season.

Behind him, the Eagles boast the strongest goalkeeping tandems in the NCCAA:
With depth, experience, and reliability at the goalkeeper position, the Eagles are well-built for tournament soccer.

A Tradition of Championship Success
Guiding the team is Head Coach Joe Liwosz, who is taking the Eagles to the national tournament for the sixth time in his nine seasons at the helm. Under his leadership, the Eagles have captured three national championships, including the program's most recent title in 2023. His postseason experience and proven track record make PCC a perennial contender each November.

As the Eagles take the field in Kissimmee, they do so with a roster built on experience, a season of steady improvement, and a legacy of championship excellence behind them. With strong leadership, dynamic offensive threats, and one of the most disciplined defenses in the field, the Eagles are poised to make a deep run and compete for another national title.
