Eagles End the Regular Season with a Win Against Trinity Baptist

Game Recap:
As the team celebrated the 2025 Senior Class before tipoff, the Eagles took the court for their final regular-season matchup against Trinity Baptist College. After recognizing their seniors, the Eagles started slow, quickly falling behind by 10 points within the first five minutes. However, with determination and relentless energy, they stormed back, outscoring TBC 101-62 over the final 35 minutes of play!
 
Trinity Baptist came out firing, hitting six of their first nine shots to jump ahead 15-5. A layup from Kaiden Pack sparked a massive response, as the Eagles erupted for a dominant 22-5 run over the next eight minutes. Their defense played a pivotal role, forcing four turnovers and shifting the game's momentum. The teams traded baskets as the half wound down, but the Eagles carried a 40-30 lead into the break.
 
Coming out of halftime, the Eagles wasted no time extending their advantage, opening the half with a 13-6 run in just three minutes, fueled by Liam Gerdts' 8 points during the stretch. From there, the lead only grew as the Eagles took full control. With 11 players seeing action in the second half, 10 different Eagles contributed to the scoring effort. They put on an offensive clinic, shooting an impressive 64% (23-36) from the field and 78% (14-18) from the free-throw line. The Eagles seven seniors performed well in tonight's victory, combining for 55 points and 13 rebounds in their final career home game. As the final buzzer sounded, with five seniors on the court, the Eagles secured a dominant 106-77 victory in their last regular-season home game.
 
Junior Liam Gerdts led the charge with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Senior Aaron Wagner followed closely with 20 points and 3 steals in 25 minutes of play. Fellow senior Brandtley Koske had a standout night, scoring 17 points on an efficient 7-8 shooting while adding 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Kaiden Pack rounded out the double-digit scorers with 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
 

What's Next:
Next week, the Eagles are headed back to Greenville, SC for the 2025 NCCAA South Region Tournament. As the team awaits their seeding, the Eagles will likely open their tournament play on Friday night!
