The Lady Eagles displayed a strong offensive performance in tonight's game against Trinity Baptist College that resulted in a 84-38 region win for our Lady Eagles!
The Lady Eagles' stellar passing in the opening minutes of the game created multiple open opportunities from the 3-point line. They scored 18 points from threes in the first quarter to go up 26-11. Most of the second quarter was low scoring as the Lady Eagles used full-court press to keep Trinity Baptist on their heels. Both teams combined scored only 1 point in the first 5 minutes until the Lady Eagles went on a 19-5 scoring run to increase their lead to 26, heading into halftime.
The Lady Eagles continued to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring Trinity Baptist 29-11 to take a 44-point lead into the final period. The Lady Eagles were able to extend their lead in the final 10 minutes to win 84-38.
