Pensacola, FL – The Lady Eagles defeated NCCAA opponent Welch College on Saturday with a 70-52 win at home.
In a game where they never trailed, the Lady Eagles pulled ahead 6-0 in the first two minutes and never looked back. They led by 15 at halftime and were even up by 28 points during in the second half.
On offense, the Lady Eagles dictated the course of the game with 21 offensive rebounds and 69 shots. The Lady Eagles' defense also performed well by creating 20 turnovers, which converted to 25 points.
