Adrienne Wilson

John 8:36 says: “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” This is the life verse Adrienne Wilson has used throughout her life including during her small-town upbringing in Orting, Washington. Growing up, she played soccer from the age of five all the way through high school! Beyond soccer, Wilson began playing basketball in the fourth grade and played through high school as well.

After graduating high school, Adrienne attended Pensacola Christian College and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in May 2001. After over 15 years away from school, Wilson received her Master of Sport Science from the United States Sports Academy in July 2019. As a sports science-focused individual, Coach Wilson has certifications from the Red Cross in first aid, lifeguarding, lifeguarding instructors, and CPR/PR.

Adrienne and her husband Brian started the Lady Eagles basketball program back in 2008. They coached together for three years and then moved back to Washington. After returning from Washington, Coach Wilson spent 6 years as an assistant coach to the Lady Eagles basketball team under Coach Jared Sellars.

When asked about her beginning at PCC Coach Wilson said, “When I was approached about teaching and coaching at the college level, I knew that was my heart’s desire. I’ve always loved sports and have been involved in them for as long as I can remember. I have a heart and passion for college students and being able also to combine my love for sports with my love for them, is such a privilege and blessing.”

Adrienne and Brian Wilson have been married for 18 years. They have two sons who are 10 and 6. Coach Wilson says, “Being a mom and wife is one of the most special things to me!”
