Ryan Kennard has been the goalkeeper coach of the PCC Eagles soccer program since its inaugural season in March of 2016. In 2015, Kennard received a Bachelor of Science in History Education from Pensacola Christian College. He then pursued and received a Master of Business Administration from PCC in 2018.
Kennard grew up only six hours from Pensacola in Bradenton, FL. Living close enough to PCC to return to South Florida on his breaks, Kennard spent his time off as a goalkeeper trainer in South Florida. This coaching has continued through the years and has prepared him for his role as goalkeeper coach as well as an assistant coach of the men’s soccer team.
In February of 2016, Kennard was offered the role of goalkeeper coach, giving him only months to prepare for the beginning of a new soccer program. Playing goalie through high school and for collegian soccer at PCC prepared Kennard to be an outstanding addition to the soccer program. Kennard’s training goes beyond just personal interest and self-taught skills—he has years of experience and is certified in United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1.
Kennard is happily married to his wife Ashley. In his free time, Kennard is a typical sports fan. Although soccer is his favorite, he loves watching and analyzing any sports game he can find.
