Balanced Attack Fuels Lady Eagles Past Dallas Christian

Game Recap
With less than 24 hours between games after Friday's matchup against Randall University, the Lady Eagles were tasked with battling tired legs and turning their focus to the Dallas Christian College Crusaders. After a tightly contested opening quarter, the Lady Eagles seized control of the game, outscoring Dallas 66–48 over the final three quarters to dominate the pace and momentum in an 83–59 victory.

The opening minutes featured back-and-forth scoring, with sophomore Amy Ahrens setting the tone early by scoring six of the Lady Eagles' first 11 points. Despite shooting just 2-for-8 from three-point range in the opening quarter, the Lady Eagles controlled the glass with 13 rebounds and moved the ball well, recording five assists on six made field goals. After the first 10 minutes, the Lady Eagles held a 17–11 advantage.

Holding a six-point lead entering the second quarter, the Lady Eagles came out firing, opening the period on an extended run to build a 14-point lead in the first four minutes. Buckets from Brooklyn Bosher, Autumn Boutwell, Sky Boyd, and Amber Dudek fueled the surge, and the Lady Eagles maintained a double-digit advantage throughout the remainder of the quarter. Bosher led the scoring in the second with 10 points on 3-for-5 shooting, as the Lady Eagles carried a 40–27 lead into halftime.

The third quarter mirrored the second, with the Lady Eagles continuing to apply pressure and outscoring Dallas 28–17. Early buckets from Bosher and Ahrens pushed the lead to 18, then 20, before a Dudek three-pointer and another Bosher finish extended the advantage to 22. From there, the Lady Eagles maintained a 20-plus point cushion for the remainder of the game. Boyd led the third-quarter charge with 10 points, and the scoring was well balanced, as six Lady Eagles contributed in the frame.

Three straight baskets to open the fourth quarter gave the Lady Eagles their largest lead of the night at 30 points. Although the Crusaders matched the Lady Eagles 15–15 in the final quarter, the Lady Eagles remained firmly in control, with the lead never dipping below 22 points. Free throws from Abby Matney and Lydia Adams sealed the win as the final buzzer sounded on an 83–59 victory.

Sky Boyd led all scorers, tying her season high with 27 points on an efficient 12-for-19 shooting performance while also pulling down 9 rebounds. Brooklyn Bosher followed with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Amy Ahrens rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points and 5 rebounds on 4-for-6 shooting. Additional strong performances came from Autumn Boutwell, who added 9 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals, and Amber Dudek, who filled the stat sheet with 6 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
