Match Preview: Lady Eagles Return to "The Nest"

Match Preview:
Tuesday marks the second home match of the season for the Pensacola Christian College women's volleyball team as they host the United States Sports University Eagles. USSU enters the contest 0-6, still searching for the first victory in program history after dropping each of their matches in straight sets.

For PCC, it's a welcome return to "The Nest" after 9 of their 10 first matches were on the road. The Lady Eagles opened their season at home on August 23 with a sweep of Baptist University of Florida before traveling to compete in the University of Mobile tournament and the South Region Kickoff at Bob Jones University. In Greenville, PCC turned heads with a dramatic comeback against BJU, rallying from two sets down to reverse sweep the Bruins and dominate the fifth set and finish the tournament with a 3-1 record.

Most recently, the Eagles kept their momentum rolling with a sweep of Coastal Alabama South on Saturday. Now back on their home court, the Lady Eagles look to ride that energy into Tuesday night and keep stacking wins as the season builds.

First serve is set for 6:00 p.m. in the Sports Center Arena — come out, be loud, and support your Lady Eagles!
