Match Preview:
The Lady Eagles volleyball team returns to action Friday evening at 5:00 p.m., hosting the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers.
PCC comes in riding a seven-match winning streak after sweeping Boyce College and Welch College in last Saturday's tri-match in Tennessee. The wins also marked major milestones for several players: Sydney Anderson surpassed 200 kills on the season, Olivia Boyd cleared the 200-assist mark with 36 across the two matches, and Hope Brooks reached 200 digs after collecting 27 on the day.
Crowley's Ridge enters with a 5-12 record but carries momentum of its own, winning two straight. The Pioneers and Lady Eagles share one common opponent in Freed-Hardeman University — PCC swept the Lions, while the Pioneers fell in straight sets.
The Lady Eagles have already matched last year's longest win streak of seven and now have the chance to set a new mark with number eight. First serve is Friday at 5:00 p.m. in The Nest, make plans to be there and back your Eagles!
