The team's second opponent was Trinity Baptist College. With a win over TBC coming on Saturday, September 7th the Lady Eagles planned to duplicate that outcome. The Lady Eagles began the game with an impressive 9-0 run and won the first set convincingly. The second set was more competitive… but ultimately, secured a 25-16 victory, thanks in part to Helen Payton, who contributed four consecutive service aces.
