Lady Eagles Dealt Their Second Loss of the 2023 Season

Game Recap:
Facing their third NAIA opponent of the season, the Lady Eagles were dealt a 3-0 sweep at the hands of the University of Mobile. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles could only record 18 kills and 2 blocks against the net presence of the Mobile Rams.

After a slow start to the first set for the Lady Eagles, the Rams were able to start hot and gain an early 10-5 lead, eventually pulling out a 25-16 victory over the Lady Eagles. With another hot start to the second set, the Rams were able to jump out to an early 11-4 lead and they did not look back. Ultimately taking set two by a final score of 25-15.

With a stronger start to the third set, the Lady Eagles battled starting the set only down 6-7. Unfortunately, the Rams put together an 18-3 run, winning set three by a final score of 25-9.

What's Next:
Beginning Friday, the Lady Eagles will participate in the 2023 South Region Kickoff Tournament. Beginning play against Bob Jones University at 12:00 PM the Lady Eagles will play two games on Friday followed by two more games on Saturday. While at the tournament, the Lady Eagles will face Bob Jones, Trinity College of Florida, Trinity Baptist College, and Toccoa Falls College.
