Lady Eagles Fall to Bob Jones on the Road

Game Recap:

The Lady Eagles were dealt a tough 0-3 loss to Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. After a rough first set, the Lady Eagles couldn't get the momentum back as the Lady Bruins swept the Lady Eagles 3-0.
 
After a quick 25-6 first set, the Lady Eagles attempted to reset and begin the second set with a new urgency. After a back-and-forth opening, the Lady Eagles held an early 5-4 lead for BJU. Unfortunately, the Lady Bruins jumped back into the lead by a score of 8-6. The Lady Bruins closed out set #2 on a 17-7 run and won the second set 25-13. To start the third set, the Lady Eagles once again came out with early aggression and scoring as the teams were locked in an early 5-5 tie. Once again, BJU ended the set on a strong 20-6 run completing the sweep of the Lady Eagles with a final set score of 25-11. With this win, the Lady Bruins swept their last four opponents, and with this loss, the Lady Eagles fall under the .500 win percentage.
 

What's Next:
Saturday, the Lady Eagles will participate in their second tri-match of the season. This tri-match will take place in Rock Hill, SC where the Lady Eagles will first match up against Clinton College at 10:00 AM CT. Immediately following this match, the Lady Eagles turn right around and face Johnson and Wales University at 12:00 PM CT.
