Eagles Win Their Eighth Straight Game, Defeating Trinity College of Florida

The Eagles win their eighth NCCAA South Region game, defeating Trinity College of Florida by a final score of 85—74. This win pushes the Eagles to eight wins in a row, and nine out of their last ten games!
 
After a close first half, the Eagles were down 46—47 with twenty minutes remaining. In a three minute stretch beginning at 13:57, the Tigers went on a 12-0 run extending their lead to 55—67. However, the Eagles fought back and brought the game back to a two-point deficit with 4:00 minutes left on the clock. The Eagles then went on a game ending 15-3 run closing out the game and taking their eighth game in a row! Leading the Eagles was senior forward AJ Ward who ended the game with 24 points on 65% total shooting on the night. Closely behind Ward was Austin Lewis and Liam Gerdts who both recorded 16 points. Although the Eagles bench only recorded 12 points, the starters carried the weight and led the Eagles to the victory.
 
Saturday, the Eagles host NCCAA Mideast Region opponent the Welch College Flames. This game is set to start at 3:00 PM. Come out and support the Eagles and cheer them to their ninth straight victory!
