Dominating Win Keeps the Lady Eagles Undefeated in South Region Play

The Lady Eagles remain undefeated in NCCAA South Region play, defeating Trinity Baptist College by a score of 82—56. With a fast start to the game, the Lady Eagles had control from the tip and tallied their seventh South Region victory.
 
The Lady Eagles jumped out to an early 16—4 lead, only missing one shot in the first 5 minutes of play. However, the Eagles second quarter started and ended very slowly. Being outscored 9—14 in the second quarter, the Lady Eagles needed to come out of halftime ready to play… and they did! Scoring 23 points in the quarter and holding TBC to just 11 points, the Lady Eagles were once again confidently in the driver seat. The game was finally concluded by the strong fourth quarter, propelling the Lady Eagles to their 14th win of the season. Tonight's scoring was evenly spread. The strong bench performance from Holland Guisler, who recorded 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, and Rachel Phelps, who totaled 6 points and 2 steals. The Lady Eagles spread the scoring to 12 different players. However, defensively PCC thrived once again, forcing the TBC Eagles into 19 turnovers on the night.
 
Saturday night, the Lady Eagles will face Bob Jones University. Game time is set for 5:30 PM, come out and support your Lady Eagles. Be sure to wear white and be loud for the PCC Eagles "white out night"!
