Early Deficit Cannot Keep the Eagles from Their Tenth Straight Victory

The Eagles conclude their South Region regular season play with a dominating win over Southeastern Baptist. After a slow start, the Eagles quickly found their groove and moved to a 80—63 victory for their tenth straight win!

After the Chargers started the game with a 7-0 run, the Eagles quickly fought back to claim the lead 12—11 with fifteen minutes remaining in the first half. After this lead change, the Eagles never lost the lead again and led the scoring for more than 80% of the game. With senior guard Christian Porter going down with an ankle injury just 10 minutes into the game, the Eagles looked to their bench to provide the spark they needed to win their tenth straight. Coming strong off the bench was Joshua Alexander who played 27 minutes and recorded 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. However, it was the night for double-doubles. With Brandtley Koske, 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Liam Gerdts, 19 points and 11 rebounds, both recording double-doubles the Eagles scoring was spread with four players scoring double digits and 14 bench points.
