Game Recap:

After a 3-1 win in their regional semi-final yesterday, the Lady Eagles were unable to walk away with the Regional Championship banner, falling in straight sets to the Bob Jones Bruins.

The Bruins started set one strong, going on an 8-1 run, before the Lady Eagles struck back with a 7-2 run of their own, taking the first set score to 8-10. The teams almost perfectly matched each other point-for-point through the next several points, bringing the score to 13-16. The Bruins then pulled away to take a 14-23 lead, but the Lady Eagles went on a 7-2 run to close out the set on a high note, despite the loss.

In the second set, the Lady Eagles maintained a competitive score through the first twenty-four points. At 10-14, the Bruins went on an 11-1 run to win the set. Set three was similar, with the Lady Eagles losing the set on a 15-1 run after a strong start and only being down 7-10.
