Lady Eagles Fall Short of Crowley's Ridge College

Game Recap:
Tonight's matchup vs the Crowley's Ridge College Lady Pioneers was a fast-paced, high-intensity thriller. After a great outing from the bench last night and a win against Ecclesia College, the Lady Eagles took their first loss of the season.
 
With two quick threes to start the game, the Lady Pioneers came out of the gate swinging. With a few early responses, the Lady Eagles stayed in the game early. With the visiting Lady Pioneers going 6-9 from three and 8-16 from the field, they took a strong 30-17 lead heading into the second quarter. In the second quarter, the Lady Eagles had a strong defensive stand limiting the visitors to only 18 points and 6-24 from the field and only 48 points totaled in the half. Unfortunately, though even with the strong defense from the Lady Eagles, they entered the second half down by 20.
 
Coming out into the second half, the Lady Eagles started strong on both ends of the court, but the Lady Pioneers came out strong again, scoring 24 to our 15 points. Heading into the fourth quarter down 72-43, the Eagles tried to muster up a comeback. With a strong 21-9 point fourth-quarter run the Lady Eagles ultimately came up short in an 81-64 loss.
 
 

What's Next:
Next week the Lady Eagles are headed for Texas where they will face Dallas Christian College and Southwestern Adventist University. Tune in and cheer on the Lady Eagles on their road trip.
