With a slow start in set #1, PCC fell behind early 2-7. But through tenacity and effort, the Lady Eagles stormed back and won the opening set by a final score of 25-18. As the teams entered the second set it began in a back-and-forth fashion, coming to a 6-6 tie early in the set. But with 5 serves in a row, senior Haley Butcher gave the Lady Eagles a commanding lead which allowed them to win the second set by the same 25-18 final as the first. With an early 5-1 lead to start the third and ultimately final set, the Lady Eagles never looked back and won a dominant set #3 by a final of 25-11.
