Lady Eagles Remain Undefeated in the South Region

The Lady Eagles defeated Bob Jones University by a final score of 63—60. This win pushes the Lady Eagles to a season record of 12-5, and also pushes the Lady Eagles winning streak to five in a row!
 
Starting off strong, the Lady Eagles began the game with a 6—0 lead. However, the Bruins made a big first half push and took a 23—35 lead going into the half. Although the Lady Eagles remained down 41—49, the Lady Eagles made a strong fourth quarter push and came up clutch when they needed to! Outscoring the Bruins 22—11 in the fourth quarter, the Lady Eagles pulled out their fifth win in a row. Junior guard Alissa Brewer led the Eagles tonight, recording 16 points and 4 rebounds. Although Jenna Wolford fouled out in the last 4 minutes of the game, Wolford contributed 8 points and 6 rebounds to this Lady Eagles victory.
 
Monday, the Lady Eagles head to Asheville, NC to take on NCAA DIII opponent Warren Wilson College. This will be the conclusion of the Lady Eagles 5 day road trip.
