Lady Eagles Win Third Straight to Attain Another 10 Win Season

The Lady Eagles remain undefeated in NCCAA South Region games with their 71—45 win over Trinity Baptist College.
 
After a slow start getting down 2—12 in the early minutes of the game, the Lady Eagles pushed through the adversity, taking a halftime lead of 31—24. With the help of senior guard Leah Phelps, who recorded 18 points, the Lady Eagles won the second half by a score of 40—21. However, it was junior forward Montse Torres who dominated for the Lady Eagles tonight. Torres set a new career high in points and rebounds. This was her first career double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds and going 10/11 from the FT line!
 
Thursday, the Lady Eagles host NCCAA Mideast opponent Campbellsville University of Harrodsburg. This will be the first home game for the Lady Eagles since December 10, 2022. Come out and support your Lady Eagles and help push them to remain undefeated against NCCAA opponents.
