Eagles Are Dealt a Tough Road Loss to South Region Opponent TBC

In the conclusion of the Eagles 8-day road trip, the Eagles suffer their second South Region loss of the season on the road to Trinity Baptist College by a final score of 58—76.
 
Starting the game strong, the Eagles went into halftime with a 38—36 lead. The first half was full of twists and turns, consisting of 9 lead changes and scoring from each of the Eagles starters. However, it was the slow start in the second half for the Eagles scoring 2 points in the first 4:50. While the TBC Eagles scored 10 points in the same timeframe. This 10—2 run by TBC placed them in the lead with 15:10 remaining, and they never looked back holding PCC to just 20 points in the second half. Leading the Eagles through this tough matchup was sophomore forward Liam Gerdts who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds.
 
Friday night, the Eagles host USCAA opponent Southeastern Illinois College for their first matchup against the PCC Eagles in program history. This game will begin at 7:30 PM, come out and support your Eagles and help them get their 5th win of the season!
