Eagles Lose to Cross-Town Opponents

On Tuesday, September 6, the Eagles lost a tough night match against the University of West Florida Argos. The Argos were able to get off 25 shots against the Eagles defense.

The Eagles goalie, senior Adam Lund, was able to make 7 saves. Another note-worthy senior of the night was RaMont Rhodes. After suffering a broken wrist, Rhodes had been unable to play due to the injury. Tuesday night was Eagles fans first sight of the senior defensive since last season. Another injury returner was Steven Loveland. This was Eagles fans first opportunity of the year to see the junior forward on the field.

Later this week, the Eagles will host NAIA opponent Faulkner University. This game will be Saturday, September 10, at 8 p.m. After this home game, the Eagles will have a few days off before hitting the road and heading to Jackson, Mississippi.
