Lady Eagles Win Big on the Road in a Tough 5 Set Match

The Lady Eagles went the full five sets in their win against NCAA DIII opponent LaGrange College. In a back-and-forth match the Lady Eagles we able to rally after losing the first set by a score of 27-29. The Lady Eagles battled all night for this road win!
 
Tonight, during their match, the Lady Eagles junior setter Kenzie Folker recorded 40 assists becoming the first player in Lady Eagles history to record 1,000 career assists. After breaking the all-time assist record two weeks ago, Folker wasted no time breaking yet another record and recording one of the game's greatest accomplishments! Defensively, the Lady Eagles were led by libero Kora Lathers who was able to record 28 digs for her team allowing the Lady Eagles to attack and leave with a victory.
 
Tomorrow, the Lady Eagles will participate in a tri-match event in Toccoa Falls, GA. In this event, the Lady Eagles will face NCCAA South Region opponent Toccoa Falls at 1:00 PM (CT). Immediately following this match, the Lady Eagle will face NAIA opponent Johnson University of Tennessee at 3:00 PM (CT).
