Lady Eagles Get Swept on the Road by Huntingdon College

The Lady Eagles lost their road match against NCCAA DIII opponent Huntingdon College. The Lady Eagles unfortunately could not rally a set win, being swept by the Lady Hawks 0-3.

The Lady Eagles travelled to Montgomery, Alabama to face this high-powered Huntingdon team. Entering the match with a 5-7 record, the Lady Eagles looked for their third road win of the 2022 season. Junior libero Kora Lathers led the Lady Eagles defensively with 13 digs. Assisting her in the back row was senior outside hitter, Brittney Hunter who had 7 digs of her own, trying to help lead her team to victory. Unfortunately for the Lady Eagles, Huntingdon College showed their power by sweeping the Lady Eagles 0-3.

This weekend, the Lady Eagles will host another tri-match. Hosting NAIA opponents Florida College and Warner University. The Lady Eagles look to turn their weekend around by winning both matches and entering the month of October with fresh wins and a readiness to get into post-season play.
