Lady Eagles Dominate Road Match Against Welch College

The Lady Eagles swept their NCCAA opponent the Welch College Lady Flames on Saturday, September 17. After taking a tough 0–3 loss the night before, the Lady Eagles came soaring back and won their next match 3–0.
 
After the Lady Eagles won the first set by a score of 25–21, the Lady Flames came out firing on all cylinders, taking a lead of 19–24. But the Lady Eagles were determined to win this set at all costs—taking the second set by a final score of 30–28! The Lady Eagles then completed the sweep with a third set win of 25–19. The Lady Eagles totaled 36 kills. Senior hitter Brittney Hunter and junior hitter Allie McGuirt lead the offensive attack, both recording 8 kills for the Lady Eagles.
 
Next the Lady Eagles will head to Montgomery, AL, to face NCAA DIII opponent Huntingdon College on Friday, September 23. The Lady Eagles will then head right back home for their fourth tri-match of the 2022 season. This event will host two NAIA opponents the Florida College Lady Falcons and the Warner University Lady Royals. Be sure to tune in, watch, and support your Lady Eagles!
