Lady Eagles Lose Road Match Against Fisk University

The Lady Eagles were dealt a tough road loss against NAIA opponent Fisk University on Friday, September 16. Road games are always more difficult than playing at home; however, playing with no air conditioning in an unfamiliar gym proved to be an immense task for the Lady Eagles.

Though, unfortunately, the Lady Eagles lost against the Lady Bulldogs, the Lady Eagles focused on their defense. Sophomore defensive specialist Grace Loo and junior libero Kora Lathers combined for 19 digs, adding to the Lady Eagles' total of 51 digs in the match.

The Lady Eagles remained on the road for the weekend, heading just thirty minutes down the road to Gallatin, TN, to take on NCCAA opponent the Welch College Flames on Saturday, September 17, at 11 a.m.
