Eagles Lose Road Match Against Millsaps College

The Eagles were dealt a tough loss from their NCAA DIII opponent Millsaps College. After being dealt two 0–4 losses in previous games, the Eagles were almost able to pull off a tough road upset.

The Eagles were able to get 8 shots on goal during this match. After only having 3 shots on goal during the previous two games combined, the Eagles were firing on all cylinders trying to get a goal to their name. Although the Eagles were able to get off 13 total shots, they were unable to score a goal. Millsaps College made the only goal within the first ten minutes of the game, sending the Eagles off with a tough 0–1 loss. A noteworthy event of the evening came from senior defender Clint Peterson. Peterson is now the PCC Eagles Men's Soccer all-time leader in minutes played. After playing three years for the Eagles, Peterson has broken the minutes played record very early in his senior season!

The Eagles soccer team will head for Columbus, Mississippi, to take on NCAA DIII opponent Mississippi University for Women at 2 p.m. Tune in and watch the Eagles play!
