Eagles Lose Tough Road Game to DIII Opponent Belhaven University

The Eagles lose a difficult game to Belhaven University. After being up by 4:00 at halftime, Belhaven's halftime adjustments proved to be too much as they defeat the Eagles 61-91.
 
With AJ Ward leading the scoring with 14 points in the first half, the Eagles we're leading 37-33 at halftime. However, the half time adjustments from Belhaven propelled them to outscore the Eagles by 34 in the second half. Offensively, the Eagles were led by senior guard Austin Lewis who totaled 16 points. Closely behind was fellow senior AJ Ward who ended the game with 15 points.
 
Tomorrow the Eagles head to Columbus, MS to face the Mississippi University for Women Owls. This will be the Eagles fourth NCAA DIII matchup, and the Eagles enter this game looking for their first DIII win. The MBB game will begin at 5:00p CT. Tune in and cheer on your Eagles!
