Lady Eagles Get Their First Win of the Season Against South Region Opponent

The Lady Eagles had a dominating performance against NCCAA South Region opponent Toccoa Falls College, winning by a score of 76—57. Leah Phelps once again led the scoring for the Lady Eagles through a tough, physical first half.
 
In the first half, between the two teams there were three players on the bench with foul trouble. Through a physical, and grueling first half the Lady Eagles led 34—32. However, with the dominating performance from Leah Phelps, setting a new career high of 30 points, the Lady Eagles were able to dominate the second half scoring 42—25. With this win, the Lady Eagles move to 1-2 on the season with a conference record of 1-0.
 
Saturday, the Lady Eagles will face another NCCAA opponent, Ecclesia College. This game will conclude the 2022 Pensacola Invitational. After this game the Lady Eagles have almost a full week off, when they travel to Gallatin, TN to play NCCAA Mideast Region opponent Welch College.
