Lady Eagles Suffer Their First Home Loss of Season to LaGrange College

The Lady Eagles suffered their first home loss of the regular season, losing to NCAA DIII opponent LaGrange College by a final score of 69—81. With a solid start in the first quarter, unfortunately, the Lady Eagles could not defeat this fast paced NCAA DIII team.
 
Beginning the game with a first quarter score of 19—18, the Lady Eagles were pushing to keep their home record perfect! Even with the 4th quarter push, the Lady Eagles could not defeat the Panthers. Unfortunately, LaGrange College controlled the boards and out-rebounded the Lady Eagles 65—35 during this game. Even with the dominating offensive performance from Leah Phelps, who scored 25 points, the Lady Eagles could not complete a comeback against LaGrange.
 
Tuesday, the Lady Eagles host NAIA opponent Faulkner University for an exhibition game beginning at 5:00 pm. This will be the Lady Eagles final game before Thanksgiving break.
