Lady Eagles Suffer a Tough Road Loss to Crowley's Ridge College

The Lady Eagles were dealt their second loss of the season to NAIA opponent Crowley's Ridge College. After defeating Welch College Friday night, the Lady Eagles had to make the trip to Arkansas to play at 2:00 pm. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles lost a close game in the last few minutes by a final score of 56—59.
 
The Lady Eagles were once again led in scoring by senior guard Leah Phelps with 17 points. After a back-and-forth game with 4 lead changes. The Lady Eagles entered the 4th quarter down by a score of 41—47, the Lady Eagles fought back and forced a three points game with just 3:45 on the clock. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles could not complete the comeback and fall to Crowley's Ridge in their second loss of the season.
 
The Lady Eagles have a few days off before hosting their next game. Friday, November 18 at 5:00 pm the Lady Eagles will host LB Wallace Community College in "The Nest". Come out and fill the arena and show your support for your Lady Eagles!
