Eagles Lose to Defending National Champion Campbellsville University

The Eagles suffered their second loss of the season to the defending National Champions, Campbellsville University – Harrodsburg.
 
The Eagles battled all 40 minutes of this NCCAA matchup. With strong performances from seniors Jakorrian "Korri" Edwards, with 20 points, and Austin Lewis, with 15 points, the Eagles were in it till the end. Unfortunately, in the last minutes the Pioneers were able to pull away and win the game by a final score of 73 – 64.
 
Starting Thursday, the Eagles and Lady Eagles will be hosting the Pensacola Invitational sponsored by Campus Church. The Eagles games begin Thursday at 7:00 pm when the Eagles take on their first NCCAA opponent of the season, Toccoa Falls College. The Eagles will then close out the invitational by playing NAIA opponent, the University of Mobile at 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon. Come out and show your support and cheer on your Eagles this weekend!
