Lady Eagles Pull Out the Win in a Back-and-Forth Saturday Match

After sweeping Atlantis University in yesterday's match, the Lady Eagles faced their USCAA opponent once again on Saturday. Going back and forth and forcing the match into 5 sets, the Lady Eagles were able to rally and win set number five by a score of 15–11.

This was a back-and-forth match with alternating set wins. The Atlanteans were able to win sets one and three, while the Lady Eagles took sets two, four, and five. With both senior starters out for the game, the Lady Eagles looked to their junior leadership. Juniors Allie McGuirt and Victoria Hamilton led the team with 10 kills each, while junior setter Kenzie Folker led the match with 33 assists. Defensively, the Lady Eagles were once again led by the tremendous back row play of junior libero Kora Lathers who recorded 21 digs!

On Monday, the Lady Eagles head to Panama City to face NJCAA opponent Gulf Coast State College. After losing the first matchup 0–3, the Lady Eagles look to steal the win! Be sure to tune in and support your Lady Eagles while they're on the road!
