Eagles Win Big At Home in a Physical Battle with Dallas Christian College

The Eagles were able to pull out a win in a tough match against their NCCAA opponent, Dallas Christian College. After going down 0-1 in the first ten minutes of the game, the Eagles never slowed down and came roaring back into the lead with back-to-back goals pushing the Eagles to a 3-2 final score!

The Eagles offense was very well spread out in this win. All three goals being scored by three different players, and each goal being assisted by different players. The first goal in the 34^th minute came from senior midfielder Clint Peterson who was assisted by the free kick of Chase Hawkins. The second goal came from the sophomore transfer Lourenço Gonçalves being assisted by the header from midfielder Grant Baker. And the final Eagles goal came from senior forward Ked Augustin assisted by junior forward Jacob Bernard. The Eagles were able to dominate the possession and maintain control through a physical, and aggressive match.

Next Tuesday, the Eagles hit the road and head for Mobile, AL. There, the Eagles will face NAIA opponent the University of Mobile. Be sure to cheer on your Eagles, tune in, and show support!
