Lady Eagles Dominate Tri-Match and End Their Regular Season with a Win

The Lady Eagles closed out their 2022 season with their seventh tri-match of the season. Hosting NCCAA opponents Trinity Baptist College and Welch College, the Lady Eagles worked to close their season with a 2—0 weekend.
 
In the first match, the Lady Eagles dominated Trinity Baptist College winning 3—0 with a combined scoring differential of 75-33. The Eagles were once again led by the offense of their two senior hitters, Bethany Gamble and Brittney Hunter. These two combined for a total 16 kills and a .431 hitting percentage!
In the second match, the Lady Eagles faced off against the Welch College Flames. Losing set number one 25—23, the Eagles came back and won a tough 28—26 set number two. The Lady Eagles continued their run, winning sets three and four to complete the match! The Lady Eagles were led once again led by senior outside hitter Brittney Hunter with 16 kills in the match! Alongside of Hunter, was junior setter Kenzie Folker who recorded 43 assists! The Lady Eagles totaled 63 kills in this back and forth match with Welch College.
 
This tri-match concludes the Lady Eagles regular season bringing them to a final record of 13-15. This weekend, the Lady Eagles head to Jacksonville to participate in the 2022 NCCAA South Region Tournament!
