Eagles Win Home Match Against South Region Opponent on Senior Night

The Eagles dominated in their last home match of their 2022 season. After defeating Atlantis Friday night by a score of 2—0 the Eagles came in this NCCAA South Region matchup confident and ready to win two in a row.

Thanks to the offense provided by the Eagles, our seniors were able to walk off Eagle field for the last time with a win! In the 23rd minute, Chase Hawkins used his skilled touch to open himself up and take the early 1—0 lead for the Eagles. Not far behind, freshman Gabe Burton scored in the 36th minute with a beautiful assist from senior Ked Augustin. And the lone goal scorer of the 2nd half was senior Clint Peterson scored the 12th goal of his career in the 50th minute! Being led by the seniors, the Eagles dominated this match and came out with their seventh win of the 2022 season.

Next week, the Eagles head to Arkansas to play two NCCAA opponents, Randall University and Ecclesia College. These two matches will be the conclusion of the Eagles 2022 regular season!
