On Saturday, October 17, the Eagles soccer team competed against the Florida College Falcons for the first time in program history. After a tough loss against the University of Mobile on Tuesday, the Eagles hoped to capitalize on the opportunity to add another win to their record.
The first half consisted of possession bouncing back and forth between the two teams. While PCC had twelve shot attempts in the first half, they were unable to put in a goal before their opponents. With less than 15 minutes left in the first half, the Eagles let in the first goal of the evening and a little over 7 minutes later allowed the second goal in. At the half, the Eagles trailed the Falcons, 0–2.
Heading into the second half, the Eagles knew they had ground to make up. The game quickly grew more physical, and when a red card resulted in the Falcons competing down a player, things began to look hopeful for the Eagles. However, it wasn't long before the Eagles had another goal scored against them. The game ended with the Eagles unable to put in a goal, the final score 0–4.
In total, the Eagles had 21 shot attempts, 7 being shots on goal.

The Eagles next game is on Saturday, October 24 at 1pm. This game against Johnson University of Florida is also Senior Night. Be sure to come out and help the soccer team honor its eight seniors!
