The Eagles opened their region play with a loss on the road to Southeastern Baptist College 84-75.
 
The Chargers came out aggressive and in attack mode as they came at the Eagles quickly on both ends of the floor. "Give Southeastern credit, they made us play on our heels the entire night.  We struggled to get back defensively and put any pressure on them defensively, and their defense was strong as their pressure led to numerous fast break points," stated Coach Mark Goetsch.
 
The Eagles were led by junior John Clay's 21 points. Noah Rawlings (FR) contributed 11 points. PCC's player of the game honors go to Anthony Horton (SO) who came off the bench contributing 12 points and 9 rebounds in his best game as an Eagle.
 
The Eagles travel to Columbus, MS, on Friday to take on Mississippi University–Women.  The game against the Owls tips off at 7:00 p.m.
