The PCC Eagles and the Birmingham Southern Panthers shot a combined 55% from the field and 52% behind the arc including 37 made three pointers as both teams struggled to find a defensive presence. The Panthers came out on top in the high scoring affair, 130-98. The loss drops the Eagles to 3-10 on the season while Birmingham Southern moves to 3-5.
John Clay (Jr.) led the Eagles with 27 points on 9-16 shooting including 5 threes.
Deric Woods (Fr) continued his improvement in the post position logging 20 points on 10-14 shooting.
Austin Lewis (Fr) came off the bench and dropped 15 points, and
Joshua Alexander (Fr) and
Christian Porter (Fr) added 11 and 10 points respectfully.
The Eagles take a break for Thanksgiving and are back on the hardwood December 2
nd against NAIA opponent, Tennessee Wesleyan University. Tip-off in the Sports Center Arena is 7:30 PM.
