New Port Richey, FL—Our Lady Eagles Basketball team traveled to face Trinity College of Florida in their first conference game of the year. Despite a hostile environment, they were able to secure a hard-fought 64-44 road victory to move to 1-0 in NCCAA South Region play.

Heading into the 4th quarter, the Lady Eagles were looking to finish off a statement victory. They were able to calmly secure a crucial road victory by again holding Trinity College of Florida to under 10 points in the final quarter. Asked after tonight's game about his teams performance,
Jared Sellars glowing responded, "We're getting closer. Our shots were falling. We executed our game plan to perfection. Our girls came in here and took care of business."
