Clint Peterson

Clint Peterson enters his second season as the assistant coach for the Eagles men’s soccer program, returning to the sidelines after a standout four-year playing career at Pensacola Christian College. Known for his strong leadership and deep understanding of the program, Clint brings a player-first perspective that continues to elevate team culture and performance.

Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Clint was a four-time All-American and three-time team captain for the Eagles, earning National Player of the Year honors during his collegiate career. His experience on the field, paired with his passion for mentoring, made coaching a natural next step.

Clint was drawn to coaching by the opportunity to influence young men who are walking the same path he once did. His goal is to build meaningful relationships with his players, helping them grow both on and off the field while offering practical guidance to refine their skills and mindset.

In his role, Clint emphasizes personal accountability and ownership on the field, in the classroom, and daily life. He believes growth comes from being coachable and asking the right questions: "How can I do this better?" or "What more can I contribute to the team?" These are lessons he learned firsthand as a student-athlete and now passes on to the next generation.

Clint also values team chemistry, encouraging healthy relationships between players and coaches. He believes that trust built off the field translates into stronger leadership and better communication during competition. His coaching style fosters a collaborative environment where players feel supported, challenged, and connected with each other as well as the coaching staff.

Now in his third year coaching and actively pursuing a business career, Clint sees his role at PCC as a God-given opportunity to impact lives. He is grateful to work alongside a coaching staff he respects and to invest in a program that helped shape his own life.
